Mid-West Family Broadcasting deploys iMediaTouch for 18 stations
Mid-West Family Broadcasting is one of America’s oldest and most respected Broadcast Groups. The Group isn’t owned and operated by Wall Street. In fact, each Mid-West Family General Manager has a substantial ownership stake in their stations.
Mid-West Family Broadcasting Company is based in Madison, Wisconsin. The company owns and manages 29 stations throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Missouri and Illinois. Many of the group’s stations have been in the Mid-West Family for over 40 years. That kind of stability is almost unheard of in today’s world of mergers and acquisitions.
The company purchased iMediaTouch for 18 of their stations located in La Crosse, WI, Madison, WI and Springfield, MO.
“We were faced with making a major upgrade to our broadcast automation system and decided to look at what the industry had to offer,” commented John Bauer, Corporate Chief Engineer for Mid-West Family Broadcasting
.“Through a joint programming and engineering search we identified iMediaTouch. iMediaTouch offered the features programming wanted, a clean intuitive interface, ease of importing audio, straight forward programming, and no new editing software to learn. Engineering was impressed with the straight forward approach to automation, the support of industry standard hardware, and the support for exporting data to RBDS, HD PAD, and electronic billboards. The implementation phase was seamless thanks to iMediaTouch’s outstanding on site training and outstanding technical support.”
