OMT releases iMediaTouch v2.6.2

Winnipeg, MB Canada – OMT Inc (TSXV: OMT) announces the release of iMediaTouch V2.6.2 On Air software with new features for website Now Playing that allows display of album graphics and  text content using XML Active JPG output via UDP port.

The Intel Core 2 Duo processor is now fully supported and is currently the CPU of choice in  our  Pro Rack & industry standard workstations factory integrated with iMediaTouch  software.

The iMediaTouch Store Forward feature has also been enhanced to automatically backup the audio database master pointer file to a secondary drive along with copying the audio library database to the tertiary back up computer. This enhancement allows a smooth and seamless transition for air studio redundancy between any server database, A, B or to the locally stored database backup on the local C drive.  

Current users of iMediaTouch can simply download the v2.6.2 upgrade from their FTP accounts  using the interactive iMedia Support Menu. Anyone interested in looking at iMediaTouch for your radio facility should contact Sales at 1-888-665-0501.

OMT will be releasing its much-anticipated iMediaTouch V3 in early 2008 – the new version includes over 30 new features such as an optional “cart style” GUI, optional Compaq library screen with drag n drop, enhanced scheduling and voice tracking features among many other features that will push radio automation technology to the next level.
