Minnesota Valley Broadcasting deploys iMediaTouch Radio Automation in 13 stations

Winnipeg, MB, Canada – OMT Inc. (TSXV: OMT) OMT is pleased to announce that Minnesota Valley Broadcasting has agreed to deploy OMT’s iMediaTouch Digital Audio Delivery System. Minnesota Valley Broadcasting operates 8 radio stations from their Mankato, MN location and 5 in Marshall, MN. iMediaTouch was initially installed at their Marshall cluster and then more recently installed in Mankato.

Scott Schmeling, Minnesota Valley Broadcasting’s Corporate Engineer stated, “We chose iMediaTouch for several reasons.  We like the fluid handling of on-air tasks, the easy importing of audio files, and the use of cart chunk data.  The real-time log is wonderful!  Scheduling changes made by traffic or programming appear instantly – we no longer have to re-send the log for the changes to take effect.  Our installation was smooth and the pre-installation support was outstanding.”

“We are very pleased that Minnesota Valley Broadcasting chose iMediaTouch as its radio automation platform for Marshall and Mankato,” commented Jackie Tetlock, Manager, Broadcast Sales & Marketing. This group is very well known throughout Minnesota for its longevity in radio and commitment to serving the community. The programming and engineering staff at both locations have been an absolute pleasure to work with. We at OMT can certainly see why they continue to perform so well within their markets.”
