OMT’s iMediaTouch now supports the Traffic Reconciliation ID for WideOrbit’s Traffic System
Winnipeg, Manitoba – OMT Inc. (TSXV: OMT): - OMT has a long history of partnering with other selected vendors who also support the radio broadcast industry with innovative products and features. In so doing OMT responds to new technologies, accelerates feature introduction, and supports our client’s specific applications and integration opportunities.
Through collaboration with WideOrbit, OMT iMediaTouch introduced the ability to ingest and output the Traffic Reconciliation ID numbers. The iMediaTouch On Air system can allow traffic systems to properly track your commercial spots as they have played, adding enhanced support for traffic software such as WideOrbit and others that use a 5-6 digit reconciliation number. WideOrbit has also developed the ability to automatically reconcile their traffic logs using iMediaTouch’s “As Run” log.
“This new enhancement fully automates the ability to ensure the log ran as scheduled, freeing up traffic department staff to handle more valuable activities,” stated Kevin Kowal, OMT’s Quality Assurance Manager. “Users can automatically import the iMediaTouch “as run” log back into WideOrbit to reconcile the traffic log and therefore bill accordingly. We appreciate WideOrbit working closely with us on this project to ensure a much more efficient & effective user experience for our mutual clients.”
The added functionality is already utilized by a number of iMediaTouch clients and is available to all Version 2.0 and Version 3.0 iMediaTouch customers at no added charge.
