iMediaTouch v3 is here! |

OMT Technologies is pleased to announce the release of iMediaTouch v3! This 5th generation software includes 20 new client driven features and user interface enhancements for both touch screen and “Drag ‘N’ Drop” functionality.
Some of the new On-Air v3 features include:
- Audio back up at the tertiary level (operate off local hard drive or redundant server) with complete restoration of all configuration settings and database entries for added peace of mind in a “server down” emergency
- “Sports Broadcast Affiliates can benefit from Fully Automated ” baseball, NASCAR® and even local remote sports broadcasts – all done in one daily log.
- Automated hooks builder for airing “Coming Up Next” front sell and promo’s
- “Cart Style” screen display with static cart decks within the on-air module – user selectable
- Enhanced Phone Bit Recorder and wav form editing features within the on-air screen
- “Compact On-Air Screen Audio Library” display with Drag ‘N’ Drop feature into the main On-Air log - user selectable
- “CanCon” feature for Canadian broadcasters which automatically displays a “play percentage” of all Canadian content or Emerging Artists for CRTC requirements
- Enhanced Dual LCD Monitor On Air capability for Showlog Hot Buttons, Audio Library, Copy on Screen, Production, On Air Voice tracking (just add a second LCD monitor).

General ways to find about new OMT Software
& problem solving/set-up documents!
Once logging onto the OMT FTP site using your log-in and password, you will see a folder for the version of the software that you currently use (example iMediaTouch_Vx 1 through 3).
This folder will allow you to locate the most current version that you operate - remember that free upgrades within a version are free of charge with clients that have a valid Support Plan. This would be the version that OMT recommends that you run for your station. It is the most up to date and tested version available to you.
If you want to upgrade to a newer version (going from v2 to v3), please consult your OMT Sale Manager for information regarding upgrade pricing and what is available to you.
The brand new & expanded iMediaTouch online help section has new features such as "How To manuals" and "Quick Tips". This is a great place to get tips and answers to some frequently asked questions reported to our service department.
